Protect Yourself From Evil Jinns and Black Magic | PASBD

BLACK MAGIC IN ISLAM IS A SERIOUS CONCERN — AND THE HOLY WRITINGS OFFER NUMEROUS WAYS TO NEGATE MAGIC JINN.

I’m torn. Sometimes I think there’s a power in belief. That just by acknowledging something’s existence, you’re giving it relevance, even substance.

On the other hand, I know I can’t just force myself to not think about djinns while I’m in their lands. Heck, telling me not to think about something is pretty much guaranteeing it’ll be top of mind the entire time we’re in Fès.

There’s even one to recite, ahem, before you have sex.

So, I ultimately decided to investigate ways to protect yourself from djinns (also called jinns and, to most Westerners, genies).

Not that I think we’re really in any danger — or that these superstitions will actually help prevent something bad from happening.

But heck, after what happened last time, I figure it sure couldn’t hurt.

SPELLS, PRAYERS AND PROTECTIVE INCANTATIONS

A lot of the sites I found during my research focused on prayers to Allah for protection, such as this one:

“I seek refuge in Allah from you. I curse you with the curse of Allah.”

That seems a bit extreme — maybe it’s best to keep that one as backup if things get particularly dire.

This is one you recite upon leaving your house:

“In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no solution, no way out and no power except by Allah.”

There’s even one to recite, ahem, before you have sex:

“In the name of Allah, O Allah! Keep us away from Shaytaan [Satan] and keep Shaytaan away from what you bestow upon us.”

This assures that if a baby is conceived, Satan will never dare harm it. It also prevents a djinni from “taking part in a man’s sexual intercourse with his wife,” according to IdealMuslimah.

Here’s a nice general-purpose prayer that works all day long. Say this upon rising in the morning, and you’re said to be protected from djinns until you retire in the evening:

“I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast. Allah! There is none worthy of worship but he, the ever-living, the one who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes him. To him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the Earth. Who is he that can intercede with him except with his permission? He knows what happens to them in this world, and what will happen to them in the hereafter. And they will never encompass anything of his knowledge except that which he wills. His throne extends over the heavens and the Earth, and he feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And he is the Most High, the Most Great.”

Here it is in Arabic:

أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ "اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

'A 'oothu billaahi minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem. Allaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyoom, laa ta'khuthuhu sinatun wa laa nawm, lahu maa fis-samaawaati wa maa fil-'ardh, man thai-lathee yashfa'u 'indahu 'illaa bi'ithnih, ya'lamu maa bayna 'aydeehim wa maa khalfahum, wa laa yuheetoona bishay'im-min 'ilmihi 'illaa bimaa shaa'a, wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal'ardh, wa laa ya'ooduhu hifdhuhumaa, wa Huwal- 'Aliyyul- 'Adheem

This is the one Duke and I ended up reciting every morning before we left the riad. And we didn't have one bad djinni experience! It works!

Here's another, though, to play it safe:

“In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment, thee do we serve and thee do we beseech for help. Keep us on the right path. The path of those upon whom thou has bestowed favors — not of those upon whom thy wrath is brought down, nor of those who go astray.”

And one more for good measure:

“I seek refuge in the Lord of the Dawn from the evil of what he has created. And from the evil of the utterly dark night when it comes. And from the evil of those who blow on knots. And from the evil of the envious when he envies.”

Wonder what that blowing on knots is all about? It appears to be a term for (and practice of) the secrets arts of sorcery.

OTHER MEANS OF PROTECTION

Finally, I found some types of protection aside from spoken prayers or spells:

dates

The Prophet (peace and blessing upon him) said, “Whoever eats seven pressed dates every morning before eating any food, will not be affected by poison or sihr [witchcraft]!”

Preferably, you’re eating ajwa, a kind of date grown in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

ablution (wudu)

First think about your niyyah (intention) in performing ablution to cleanse yourself of impurities.

Say, “Bismillah,” which means “in the name of Allah.”

Wash your right hand up to the wrist (and between the fingers) three times.

Repeat with the left hand.

Rinse your mouth and spit out the water three times and rub the teeth with a miswak, a teeth-cleaning twig.

This site has a more elaborate form of wudu that includes putting water up your nose and washing your feet.

Do this and you’ll be protected by an angel and therefore immune to black magic.

potty prepping

Apparently, Satan likes to lurk in bathrooms. So before you go in, you might want to say, “O Allah! I seek refuge in you from the male/female Satans.” The Devil apparently likes to hide in “this filthy place, which is the home of Satanic jinn,” according to Al-Bukhari. 

I'm not saying I'll follow all of this advice…but I do feel that I'm going back onto the djinns' turf better. 

Jinn | Sexual Possession

There are two kinds of Jinn, male and female. Civilization of Jinnat is almost as similar of human beings but they are very powerful spirits and invisible to human eyes. They too take birth, live life and even die but their life cycle is much longer than humans.

They are also good and bad but generally they are not good to human beings. The human is commonly encountered by male Jinn. The Jinn generally possess female’s body and has sexual intercourse with her while she is sleeping or half-awaken. Girls often use cosmetic to become beautiful which leaves fragrance and it causes them to spell bound and they possess her body to fulfil their sexual desires.

Male Jinn have sex with female human and Female Jinn with male human. So, Jinn can have sexual intercourse with humans (male and female). A woman, who is possessed by Jinn, is sexual assualted by him. The woman will clearly feel the penetration in her vegina but she will not be able move her body anyway. She will be feeling as if someone is having sex with her in dream but when she will get up, she will fine her vegina wet and a “Big O” will be there. The penetration speed by a Jinn is very high and it may take around 20 to 30 minutes to come to an end. The woman gets pleasure at first but gradually, she will start feeling that something very bad is happening with her which is affecting her life by many ways. She may be continuously ill. Medical reports will be clear but the illness will be existing. The Jinn will stop her marriage and destroy the love relations. She will start getting scary dreams at night.

At first, Jinn tries to touch her private or rub her hands around her body. He may try to kiss her while she is about to sleep or half-awaken.

Once, one’s body is captured by Jinn, it is very difficult to get rid of it. As, the Jinn loves it. He has got a medium to fulfil his lust. So, He will never leave the affected woman until some special rituals and powerful provisions are done against him. He, forcefully, will have to make to get out of her body. Sometimes, Jinn may kill any one who will try to save the woman. He is extremely powerful and it is not easy to get rid of him.

Different religions provide different remedies to get rid of a Jinn or Jinnaat. The most important point is to go into the holy feet of the Supreme Almighty, worship of God, in accordance with your religion. A learned Aamil or tantra expert is reguired to sort out this issue.

Symptoms

1. Many poor and violent dreams.

2. The person feels like someone in his bed but he sees nothing.

3. The person feels that his desire something larger.

4. The person feels as if his dream was real community and wake up very tired.

5. The person just smells perfume.

6. Panting in your ear when you hear in bed when no one is.

7. Often feel that someone on your genitals while sitting in one around.

8. This person has no desire to marry, and has many excuses sure.

9. If a married person, then he has no sense of intercourse with his partner, but to zinaa to commit or to.

After dreaming of sexual intercourse is the person very tired.

Dreams about having intercourse with familiar faces like their own father, children, brothers, etc.

The person who has been affected by the ‘ASEQ can sometimes just a hair found in his underwear that is not his.

The ‘ASEQ is unfortunately common in young children, will be For example, wake up naked while she dressed, also complain kids always pain in genitals without medical cause, kids get often shapes the ‘ASEQ to see, so take your children seriously if they arrive with such things.

A person dreams of intercourse, and this is due to the influence of the jinn.

Mostly when the girls have their menstrual cycle or even otherwise, the devils have sexual intercourse with them. This happens when the magician needs urgent help from these devils. So he offers them with the opportunity to have sex with girls. The devils get delighted and agree to do whatever the magician may order them to do in lieu of sexual favors. It may also happen if the magician wants to bring ignominy to a woman. So he may order these devils to go and have sex with any particular girl. These devils then rush to that particular house and on reaching the spot first of all they perform some magic to put that girl to sleep as a result of which the girl feels dizzy and has a slight headache soon after which she feels sleepy and dozes off. In order to ensure a smooth act, before starting out with the sex, these devils create a barrier around the girl by performing magic, so prevent her from trying to disturb them in any way because it may happen sometimes that the victim wakes up in between and may spoil their fun. So due to the barrier the victim will not be able to move even if she tried doing so. The sexual intercourse done by the evil jinns is similar to the one done by a human couple. The girl has the same sensations as a wife may have during sex with her husband and even though she may try to move from her position, she is not able to do so due to the magic barrier around her .In fact, the girl is not able to understand what is going on with her. In some cases a lot of jinns have sex with a single girl in turns. One of the jinns brings the girl’s mind in his control and tries to seduce her by showing her naked with a nude man in her dream. She feels a lot of pleasure and thinks that the sex is actually taking place in her dream. Since she enjoys it in her dream, she does not make any protest which makes it easier for the jinns to have sex with her in reality. In some extreme cases, such girls end up getting pregnant, which makes their parents grow suspicious about their character. Or else the girls doubt that they had spent a night in their relative’s place, so some one might have done some mischief with them. The victims can never understand the gravity of the situation.

Sexual possession by Jinn or spirit is very dangerous and even can kill someone.

জ্বীন - Jinn | Episode 1

জ্বীন নামটা শুনলে অনেকেই মনে করেন ভূত টাইপের কিছু। আসলে ভূত বলে কিছুই নাই, সবই জ্বীন জাতি। আমরা শয়তান নামে যাকে চিনি সেও জ্বীন জাতির অন্তর্ভুক্ত।

আজকাল অনেকেই জ্বিনের অস্তিত্ব নিয়ে সন্দেহ প্রকাশ করছে। তারা মনে করে দুনিয়াতে জ্বিন বলে কিছু নেই। আসলে এটা ভ্রান্ত ধারণা। আমরা এখানে সেই জ্বিন নিয়েই আলোচনা করব।

Jinn - Al Jinnah, Jinni, jinny   

প্রথমে আমরা জানব জ্বিন সম্পর্কে পবিত্র কোরআনে কি বলা হয়েছে -

আল জ্বিন সুরাতে যা লিখা আছে -

"বলুন, আমার প্রতি ওহী নাযিল করা হয়েছে যে, জ্বিনদের একটি দল কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছে, অতঃপর তারা বলেছেঃ আমরা বিস্ময়কর কোরআন শ্রবণ করেছি।" (আয়াত-০১)

"অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম মানুষ ও জ্বিন কখনও আল্লাহতা’আলা সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলতে পারে না।" (আয়াত-০৫)

"আর যখন আল্লাহতা’আলার বান্দা তাকে ডাকার জন্যে দন্ডায়মান হল, তখন অনেক জ্বিন তার কাছে ভিড় জমালো।" (আয়াত-১৯) 

জ্বিন জাতির ইতিহাস -

কুরআন অনুসারে জিন জাতি মানুষের ন্যয় আল্লাহ্‌ তা'য়ালার সৃষ্ট একটি জাতি। পৃথিবীতে মানব আগমনের পূর্ব থেকেই তাদের অস্তিত্ব ছিল, এখনও তাদের অস্তিত্ব রয়েছে। মানুষের চর্মচক্ষে তারা দৃষ্টিগ্রাহ্য নয়। তবে জিনরা মানুষকে দেখতে পায়। তারা বিশেষ কিছু শক্তির অধিকারী। তাদের মধ্যেও মুসলিম এবং কাফির ভেদ রয়েছে। তারা মসজিদে নামাজ পড়তে আসে। তাদেরও সমাজ রয়েছে। তারা আয়ূ মানুষের চেয়ে অনেক বেশী। উদাহরন স্বরূপ, তারা ৩০০ বছর বয়সে প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক হয়।

ঈমাম ইবনে তাইমিয়ার মতে জিন জাতি তাদের অবয়ব পরিবর্তন করতে পারে। ইসলামের মতে জিন জাতি এক বিশেষ সৃষ্টি। কুরআনের ৭২ তম সুরা আল জ্বিন এ শুধু জিনদের নিয়ে কথা বলা হয়েছে। এছাড়া সূরা আন নাস এর শেষ অংশে জিন জাতির উল্লেখ আছে।

কুরআনে আরো বলা আছে হযরত মুহাম্মদ (সাঃ) কে জিন এবং মানবজাতির নবী হিসেবে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে। হযরত সুলায়মান (আঃ) এর সেনাদলে জিনদের অংশগ্রহণ ছিল বলে কুরআনে উল্লেখ আছে। 

ইসলামে আরো বলা আছে "ইবলিশ" তথা শয়তান প্রকৃতপক্ষে জিন জাতির একজন ছিল। ইসলামের মতে, শয়তান হচ্ছে দুষ্ট জিনদের নেতা। ইবলিশ বা শয়তান ছিল প্রথম জিন যে আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করেছিল। 

কুরআনে উল্লেখ আছে যে, ইবলিশ এক সময় আল্লাহর একনিষ্ঠ বান্দা ছিল । কিন্তু আল্লাহ যখন হযরত আদম (আঃ) কে সৃষ্টি করলেন, তখন হিংসার বশবর্তী হয়ে ইবলিশ আল্লাহর হুকুম অমান্য করে। এ কারণে ইবলিশ কে বেহেশত থেকে বিতাড়িত করা হয় এবং এরপর থেকে তার নামকরণ হয় শয়তান। ইসলাম পূর্ব আরব উপকথা গুলোতে জ্বিন সদৃশ সত্ত্বার উল্লেখ আছে। 

প্রাচীন সেমাইট জাতির জনগণ জিন নামক সত্ত্বায় বিশ্বাস করতো। তাদের মতানুসারে নানাপ্রকারের জিন পরিলক্ষিত হয়। যেমন:

ঘুল(Ghul) (দুষ্ট প্রকৃতির জিন যারা মূলত কবরস্থানের সাথে সম্পর্কিত এবং এরা যেকোন আকৃতি ধারণ করতে পারে)

এছাড়া মারিদ (Marid) নামক এক প্রকার জিন আছে যারা জিন দের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী।

প্রাচীন আরবদের মতে জিনরা আগুনের তৈরি। এবং কুরআনে উল্লেখ্য আছে যে মানুষ মাটির তৈরি এবং জিন আগুনের তৈরি।

বিজ্ঞানের দৃষ্টিতে ব্যাখাঃ

আধুনিক পদার্থ বিজ্ঞান জ্বিন জাতির অস্তিত্ব অস্বিকার করে না। অস্বিকার করার মত কোন যুক্তি বা মতবাদও আজ পর্যন্ত প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়নি। বরং এ্যন্টি ম্যাটার সম্পর্কে মানুষের জ্ঞান যত বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে জ্বিনের অস্তিত্বের পক্ষে যুক্তি ততই প্রগাড় হচ্ছে।

পৃথিবীতে যেমন বস্তু রয়েছে। তেমনভাবে অবস্তুও থাকতে পারে।

অর্থাৎ আমাদের মহাবিশ্বে যত পার্টিক্যাল আছে ঠিক তত পরিমান এ্যন্টি পার্টিক্যাল আছে। শক্তির নিত্যতা সূত্রানুযায়ী।

এ্যান্টিপার্টিকেল অদৃশ্য। এগুলোর মুভমেন্ট কোন যন্ত্র দ্বারা পর্যবেক্ষন করা যায় না। কিন্তু বিজ্ঞান এগুলোর অস্তিত্বকে অস্বিকার করতে পারছে না। 

পৃথিবীতে ৬৫০ কোটি মানুষ আছে। এ্যান্টি পার্টিকেল থিওরি অনুযায়ী প্রতিটি মানুষের জন্যে একটি করে প্রতিমানুষ থাকলে সেগুলোর সংখ্যা হবে ৬৫০ কোটি। এগুলো মানুষের মতই কিন্তু অদৃশ্য।

এগুলোকেই জ্বিন বলা হয় যা বিজ্ঞান সম্মত বললে কি খুব বড় ভুল হবে?। 

খুব কম মানুষই তার চোখে 60-৭০ ডিগ্রি পর্যন্ত দেখতে পারে এবং যা সেকেন্ডে প্রায় ১৫০ টি ফ্রেমের সমান। এর বেশী গতির বস্তু মানুষ দেখতে অপারগ। অপর দিকে মানুষ দৃষ্টির তরঙ্গদৈর্ঘ্য 390 to 700 nm সীমার মধ্যে আলো দেখতে পায় যাকে ফ্রিকুয়েন্সীও বলে যা 430-770 THz এর একটি ব্যান্ড এর অনুরূপ । আমরা ১২০ ডেসিবল পর্যন্ত শব্দ শুনতে পাই। তাই আমরা অনায়াসেই বলে দিতে পারি যে জ্বীনের অস্তিত্ব আছে। যারা ঐ সীমা বা তার বেশী সীমায় চলাফেরা করে।

এ জগতে বিজ্ঞান দিয়ে কোরআনকে 'দৌড়ানি' দেওয়া শুরু হয়েছিল আজ থেকে প্রায় এক যুগ আগে। শুরুর দিকে কোরআনের পৃথিবীকে 'থালার লাহান চ্যাপ্টা' ও 'স্থির' বানিয়ে দিয়ে বিজ্ঞান দিয়ে 'দৌড়ানি' দেওয়া হতো। একটা পর্যায়ে যেয়ে নিজেরাই উষ্ঠা খেয়ে সত্য স্বীকার না করেই চুপ মেরে যায়। এর আসল নাম হলো হুজুগে বিজ্ঞান।

জুলকার্নাইনের ঘটনা দিয়েও কোরআনকে কিছুদিন 'দৌড়ানি' দেওয়া হয়। এভাবে মিশন্যারী উৎস থেকে চমকে দেওয়ার মতো দু-একটি করে বিষয় নিয়ে এসে বিজ্ঞান দিয়ে কোরআনকে কিছুদিন 'দৌড়ের' উপর রেখে এক সময় নিজেরাই উষ্ঠা খেয়ে চুপ মেরে গেছে। তারা হয়তো বুঝে গেছে যে, এখন এসে এই ধরণের (অপ)প্রচার করলে উল্টোদিকে গণদৌড়ানি খেতে হবে!

এজন্য বিজ্ঞান দিয়ে কোরআনকে 'দৌড়ানি' দেওয়ার সর্বশেষ (?) অস্ত্র হিসেবে সম্ভবত জ্বীনকে বেছে নেওয়া হয়েছে। শুধু এটুকু বললে ব্যাপারটা অসমাপ্ত থেকে যাবে।

এক বাংলা মহাবিজ্ঞানীর দাবি অনুযায়ী কোনো এক পাকিস্তানী উন্মাদ বিজ্ঞানী (তাদের ভাষায়; তার কাছে অবশ্য মুসলিম মানেই উন্মাদ, ভণ্ড, ধোঁকাবাজ, মিথ্যাবাদী, ইত্যাদি) নাকি জ্বীন থেকে এনার্জি বা শক্তি কব্জা করার জন্য গবেষণার প্রস্তাব দিয়েছেন। আর যায় কই! মুসলিমদেরকে ধরাশায়ী করার জন্য আর কী লাগে! পাকিস্তানী বিজ্ঞানী যেহেতু জ্বীন থেকে এনার্জি কব্জা করার জন্য গবেষণার কথা বলেছেন সেহেতু জ্বীনের অনস্তিত্ব বৈজ্ঞানিকভাবে প্রমাণ হয়ে গেছে এবং যার ফলে মুসলিমরা এখন বিজ্ঞানের ভয়ে গর্তে লুকাবে!

জ্বীন থেকে এনার্জি কব্জা করার সূত্র দেওয়া হচ্ছে এই লেখার: Why Does the Muslim World Lag in Science? লেখকের নাম অ্যারন সেগাল (Aaron Segal)।

অ্যারন সেগাল কোরআন ও বাইবেল সম্পর্কে লিখেছে -

"One verse (6:1) reads, "He created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then mounted his throne." Were this verse, borrowed from Genesis I, interpreted literally, it would devastate astrophysics, cosmology, geology, and other disciplines. But Muslims have neither interpreted the verse (as have most Christians and Jews) to understand that a "day" means some length of time to God other than twenty-four earth hours, nor have they given it a metaphorical meaning."

অ্যারন সেগাল এখানে দুটি মিথ্যাচার করেছে। প্রথমত, তার দাবি অনুযায়ী বাইবেলের জেনেসিস থেকে কোরআনের উপরোক্ত আয়াত ধার করা হয়েছে। দ্বিতীয়ত, তার দাবি অনুযায়ী মুসলিমরা কোরআনে 'দিন' বলতে আক্ষরিক অর্থে পৃথিবীর সময়ে 'চব্বিশ ঘণ্টা' বোঝে! হা-হা-হা! বোকারাম পুরাই উল্টো দাবি করেছে! লোল :P

একই লেখাতে অ্যারন সেগাল পাকিস্তানে জ্বীন নিয়ে গবেষণা সম্পর্কে বলেছেনঃ-  

"The regime organized international conferences and provided funding for research on such topics as the temperature of hell and the chemical nature of jinns (demons).১৪"

প্রথমত, অ্যারন সেগালের লেখা অনুযায়ী পাকিস্তানে জিয়াউল হক সরকারের সময়ে জাহান্নামের তাপমাত্রা ও জ্বীনের রাসায়নিক প্রকৃতি নিয়ে গবেষণার জন্য ফাণ্ড দেওয়া হয়। সত্য-মিথ্যা আমার জানা নেই। এটিকেই বাংলা মহাবিজ্ঞানী সাহেব – বিজ্ঞান-ভিত্তিক বিষয়ে যার কোনো পেপার আছে কি-না সন্দেহ – জ্বীন ধরে তা থেকে এনার্জি কব্জা করার কথা বলে এবং পাকিস্তানী বিজ্ঞানীকে 'উন্মাদ' আখ্যা দিয়ে মুসলিমদের নিয়ে অনেকদিন ধরে বেশ হাসিঠাট্টা করে আসছে। উল্লেখ্য যে, আমাদের কারো লেখায় জ্বীন বিষয়ে পাকিস্তানী কোনো বিজ্ঞানীর রেফারেন্স টানা হয়নি।

দ্বিতীয়ত, অ্যারন সেগালের লেখাতে উল্লেখিত ১৪ নং সূত্র ধরে যেয়ে দেখা যাচ্ছে সেটি আরেক পাকিস্তানী বিজ্ঞানী পারভেজ হুডবয় এর লিখা একটি বই (Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and the Battle for Rationality)। পারভেজ হুডবয় জন্মসূত্রে ইসমাইলী হওয়ার কারণে মূলস্রোতের মুসলিমদের পেছনে লেগে থাকেন। ইসলামেরও সমালোচনা করেন। উল্লেখ্য যে, পারভেজ হুডবয় ইসলাম বিদ্বেষীমনাদের কারো কারো কাছে বেশ প্রিয় পাত্র। অন্যদিকে প্রফেসর আব্দুস সালাম একজন আহমেদিয়া মুসলিম হলেও উনি কিন্তু মূলস্রোতের মুসলিমদের পেছনে লেগে থাকেননি কিংবা পরোক্ষভাবে ইসলামের সমালোচনাও করেননি। প্রফেসর সালাম বরং ইসলামে বিশ্বাসীই ছিলেন। এজন্য প্রফেসর সালামের উপর ইসলাম-বিদ্বেষীমনারা চরম ক্ষিপ্ত।

যাহোক, যদিও ইসলাম ও মুসলিম বিরোধীদের কাছে পাকিস্তান একটি মোক্ষম অস্ত্র হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে তথাপি জ্বীন নিয়ে পাকিস্তানে কী হচ্ছে আর না হচ্ছে সেটিকে এক পাশে রেখে ব্যাপারটাকে যৌক্তিক দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে দেখা যাক।

ইসলাম অনুযায়ী জ্বীনেরা আগুনের (Flame of fire) তৈরি, তবে অদৃশ্য। প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে আগুন থেকে এনার্জি বা শক্তি উৎপন্ন করা সম্ভব কি-না? এই প্রশ্নের জবাব জানার জন্য বিজ্ঞানের জ্ঞান থাকার কোনোই দরকার নাই। কেননা বিষয়টা সর্বজনবিদিত। আগুন থেকে যদি শক্তি উৎপন্ন করা সম্ভব হয় তাহলে আগুনের তৈরি জ্বীন থেকে শক্তি উৎপন্ন করার প্রস্তাব হাস্যকর হয় কী করে? নাকি মনারা ইসলাম ও মুসলিমদের নিয়ে কথা বলার সময় নাকে লাফিং গ্যাসের মাস্ক লাগিয়ে নেয়? তবে এখানে শর্ত হচ্ছে জ্বীনের অস্তিত্ব খুঁজে পেতে হবে। জ্বীনের অস্তিত্ব খুঁজে না পাওয়া পর্যন্ত এটি একটি তত্ত্ব বা প্রস্তাব হিসেবেই থেকে যাবে। 

যেখানে এলিয়েনের অস্তিত্ব প্রমাণের জন্য মিলিয়ন মিলিয়ন ডলার ব্যয় করা হচ্ছে যদিও ফলাফল শূন্য, মানুষ হত্যার জন্য মারণাস্ত্র তৈরিতে প্রতি বছর বিলিয়ন বিলিয়ন ডলার ব্যয় করা হচ্ছে, এ'রকম কত কিছু নিয়ে যুগের পর যুগ ধরে মিলিয়ন মিলিয়ন ডলার ব্যয় করে গবেষণা চলছে – সেখানে জ্বীন নিয়ে কেউ গবেষণার প্রস্তাব দিলেই উন্মাদ হয়ে যায়। কেন? কারণ, এটি ইসলামের সাথে সম্পর্কযুক্ত। প্রকৃত উন্মাদ ও অন্ধ বিদ্বেষী যে কারা, তা সচেতন ও যুক্তিবাদী পাঠক মাত্রই বুঝতে পারার কথা।

যারা বিজ্ঞান দিয়ে কোরআনকে 'দৌড়ানি' দিতে যেয়ে নিজেরাই বারংবার উষ্ঠা খাচ্ছে তাদের কাছে প্রশ্ন: বিজ্ঞানের কোথায় বলা হয়েছে যে, জ্বীন বলে কিছু নাই বা থাকতে পারে না? উষ্ঠা খাওয়া নির্বোধগুলার এই প্রশ্নের জবাব দেওয়ার মতো সৎ-সাহস আছে কি?

আজকাল যে ন্যাশনাল জিওগ্রাফী, ডিসকাভারি চ্যানেল (আজকাল মুক্তমনারা এগুলাকে বিজ্ঞানের অথেনটিক সোর্স হিসাবে মনে করে) গুলোতে লক্ষ লক্ষ ডলার খরচ করে ভূতপ্রেতের বিষয় নিয়ে ডকুমেন্টারি বানানো হচ্ছে এবং হলিউড, বলিউড, ছবিগুলোর কাহিনী বিষয় বস্তু যে ভূতপ্রেত, সেগুলোর কথা কি বাংলার মহা বিজ্ঞানীর মাথার উপর দিয়ে চলে গেছে?

এই মহাবিশ্বের স্রষ্টায় অবিশ্বাস করে [স্রষ্টায় অবিশ্বাসের জন্য সবচেয়ে বড় কল্পকাহিনীতে বিশ্বাসী হতে হবে], বিবর্তনবাদের মতো অবাস্তব ও হাস্যকর রকমের কল্পকাহিনীতে বিশ্বাস করে, জ্বীনে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করতে হলে জ্বীন-পজেসড হতে হবে কিংবা ইসলাম-বিদ্বেষী ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হতে হবে। 

মনাদের কেউ কেউ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করে আসছে। তাদের মধ্যে কতজন জেনেবুঝে হাসিঠাট্টা করে আর কতজন বহুব্রীহি নাটকের মামার মতো অন্যের হাসি দেখে হাসে, তা অবশ্য বলা মুশকিল।

যাহোক, বিজ্ঞানের উপর আস্থা থাকলে ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করার কথা না। অধিকন্তু, যাদের বিশ্বাস অনুযায়ী একটি ব্যাকটেরিয়া থেকে পুরো জীবজগত বিবর্তিত হয়েছে, তাদের কি ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করার ন্যূনতম কোনো অধিকার আছে? কেউ যদি বিবর্তনবাদের কল্পকাহিনীতে বিশ্বাস করে ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করে তাহলে সেটা হবে কালের শ্রেষ্ঠ বিনোদনমূলক কৌতুক। ব্যাপারটা "চালুনি হয়ে সুঁচের পেছনে ছিদ্র নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করা" কিংবা "গান্ধীর বিরুদ্ধে হিটলারের গণহত্যার অভিযোগ" এর মতোই হাস্যকর শুনায়।

ইসলাম অনুযায়ী ফেরেশতা হচ্ছে নূর তথা আলোর তৈরী এবং জ্বীন হচ্ছে আগুনের শিখার তৈরী ক্রীয়েচার। তবে উভয়েই অদৃশ্য – খালি চোখে দেখা যায় না। তাহলে আলো ও আগুনের তৈরী অদৃশ্য ক্রীয়েচারে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে নাস্তিকদের হাসিঠাট্টা করার কারণ কী? কারণ মূলত তিনটি:

১. ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনকে দেখা যায় না! {কোনো কিছুকে দেখা না গেলেই নাস্তিকদের কাছে সেটি 'কাল্পনিক' ও 'হাসিঠাট্টার বস্তু' হয়ে যায়। নাস্তিকদের এই ধরণের বিজ্ঞান-বিরোধী ও শিশুসুলভ মনোভাবের জবাব অনেকেই অনেকবার দিয়েছেন – আচ্ছামতোই দিয়েছেন। নতুন করে আর বলার কিছু নাই। কোটি কোটি বছর আগের একটি কাল্পনিক ব্যাকটেরিয়া থেকে পুরো জীবজগতের বিবর্তনে বিশ্বাস করে যারা স্বচক্ষে না দেখে কোনো কিছুতে বিশ্বাস নিয়ে হাসিঠাট্টা করে তারা হয় বদ্ধ উন্মাদ না-হয় অতি ধূরন্ধর।}

২. ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীন ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস! {প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে কোন্‌ পাদ্রী/পুরোহিত/মোল্লা বলেছে যে, ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাস মানেই সেটি এমনি এমনি মিথ্যা বা হাসিঠাট্টার বস্তু হয়ে যায়? বড় বড় বিজ্ঞানীরা এই ধরণের কোনো কথাবার্তা বলেছেন বলে মনে হয় না। সকল প্রকার কল্পকাহিনীর সমাহার বিবর্তনবাদে বিশ্বাস করে এই ধরণের কথাবার্তা বলতে লজ্জা করা উচিত।}

৩. ফেরেশতা ও জ্বীনের অস্তিত্বের পক্ষে কোনো বৈজ্ঞানিক প্রমাণ নাই! {কোনো কিছুর অস্তিত্বের পক্ষে আজ পর্যন্ত কোনো বৈজ্ঞানিক প্রমাণ না থাকা মানেই সেটি অবৈজ্ঞানিক বা হাসিঠাট্টার বস্তু হয়ে যায় নাকি? বিজ্ঞানের কোথায় এই কথা লিখা আছে? অণুবীক্ষণ যন্ত্র আবিষ্কারের আগ পর্যন্ত মানুষের কাছে ব্যাকটেরিয়া-জাতীয় কোনো অণুজীবের অস্তিত্ব ছিল না। তার মানে কি ব্যাকটেরিয়া-জাতীয় অণুজীবের অস্তিত্ব প্রমাণ হয়নি? অতিবেগুনি রশ্মিকে খালি চোখে দেখা যায় না বলে কি তার অস্তিত্ব প্রমাণ হয়নি? অনুরূপভাবে, টেলিস্কোপ আবিষ্কারের আগ পর্যন্ত খালি চোখে এই মহাবিশ্বটা ছিল খুবই ক্ষুদ্র ও সীমিত – পৃথিবী পৃষ্ঠ থেকে শুরু করে উপরিভাগে খালি চোখে দৃশ্যমান চন্দ্র, সূর্য, ও কিছু গ্রহ-নক্ষত্রের সমন্বয়ে সামিয়ানার মতো কিছু একটা। তার মানে এই মহাবিশ্বটা আগের মতোই ক্ষুদ্র ও সীমিত রয়ে গেছে নাকি? এ'রকম উদাহরণ আরো অনেক দেওয়া যায়।}

অতএব, প্রশ্ন হচ্ছে বিজ্ঞানের উপর নাস্তিকদের আদৌ কোনো আস্থা আছে কি? নাকি তারা ধর্মীয় বিশ্বাসকে হেয় করার জন্য বিজ্ঞানের ঘাড়ে বন্দুক রেখে তড়িঘড়ি-পরিমরি করে বিজ্ঞান-বিরোধী সব উপসংহার টানছে?
